TEDx Tunbridge Wells
We are always keen to support local initiatives and when TEDxRoyalTunbridgeWells came to town last year we just couldn't resist. TED stands for technology, entertainment and design, therefore it was a no-brainer that we got involved. Our business development manager Claire sits on the comittee and assists with the overall marketing of the event. We were then approached to become a sponsor for the second year running and we jumped at the chance to redesign the website and to get involved in a creative way.

We wanted to simply convey the purpose of TEDx and have broken this down on the homepage using larger headers and subtext. Share, Engage, Connect and Inspire are bold headings that easily communicate that TEDx is all about creating meaningful connections. People glide through the air, down the page, as the user scrolls, encouraging them to read on and be inspired. The rest of the site effectively communicates the key event speakers, as well as news and videos from the previous event.
