Invicta Law

Following several years of exemplary commercial performance, Kent County Council, the largest council in England, took the decision to transform Kent Legal Services into an alternative business structure (ABS). The new company is required to move energetically and confidently into the private sector and win business and market share from industry-leading law firms.


ifour were commissioned to develop a vibrant brand identity that echoed their desire to stand out and be different in what is usually a very traditional sector. To deliver a powerful and effective brand, website, marketing materials and launch strategy to help Invicta Law hit the ground running.

With so many interested stakeholders watching the project keenly, we ran discovery workshops with the project team, Stakeholder mapping to ensure all interested parties were involved and appraised of progress throughout and staff engagement comms and sessions to keep all staff included and informed. Through these sessions, we revealed there was a strong connection to the temporary name, Invicta Law, above and beyond alternatives developed in the naming sessions. Following valid reasoning and wide support from staff and stakeholders alike, the new name was used in the brand concepts to allay concerns about dated associations.  
Using bold, modern colours, graphics and photographic elements, a full brand with a range of assets were developed to really make Invicta Law stand out from the competition as part of a wider launch strategy and marketing roadmap.
The brand has been applied and expanded through building a fully responsive website, including motion graphics to truly bring the brand to life. To embed the brand for staff and create a fully immersive space,  ifour have also branded the new Invicta Law premises through signage and vinyl.
We have gone on to design a full suite of branded collateral including stationery, business cards, exhibition displays, brochures and email newsletters.
